Would you ever buy clothing (garments) off the internet?
Im a fashion designer. Been thinking of setting up a website to sell my garments but was just wondering what the market is like for this? and whether I should include high end brands on the site to enhance my label? any comments or ideas?
I’ve bought *tons* of clothing off the net, shoes included. Most of my friends do, also.
I’d include the high end brands, but also have more affordable items.
Put some things on Ebay for awhile & you’ll get some name recognition out there. You’ll be *amazed* how many people buy clothing off of Ebay or just window shop to see styles & prices.
Good luck!

How To Price Internet Marketing Costs
When you are looking for a quote on search engine marketing you will get various responses from many firms. If you are unsure what the right cost is this can get overwhelming.
Before you go to the firms you can complete some simple steps to figure out roughly how much your internet marketing costs might be.
Step 1: The first thing you need to do is figure out how much it is worth to you. If you sell a product that nets you $2 per customer and you are looking to expand your business to one thousand customers by next year, expect to pay roughly 20% of your earnings on the marketing.
So if you net $2 per customer and receive one thousand customers you will earn an additional $2,000 next year. By budgeting 20% towards marketing costs, you can expect to pay $400 on marketing and gross $1,600.
Step 2: The competition has to play into the factor of how much it will cost you to succeed. The more competition there is in a particular field the more money you will have to pay.
The greater your competition the higher number value will be assigned to it. If your keyword has a lot of traffic in Google, over 30 million, put down a value of 2. If your keyword has limited traffic, fewer than 10 million, put down a .5
For the example problem I will put down that the business will have 10 million competitors and will put that as easy competition, making my point value .5.
Step 3: The next thing is how much you actually want the company to do for you. If you are looking for a company to write the HTML for your website, or design a logo, that project would give you a total of .5.
If you are looking for a full internet marketing, design, social marketing, etc., that project would give you a total of 2.
For the example problem I will put down that I will need the full package, so my point value is 2.
Step 4: It is now time to calculate your marketing costs. The equation for this is value x competition x complexity = total.
For the example $400 x .5 x 2 = $400. At this point you can compare it to what your budget is and see if you need to adjust what you have the firm do for you.
Follow the steps in this article to get an idea of your internet marketing costs and you can then get something set-up with firms to make your business better!
